A right-bank walk through a cityscape of old houses, small gardens and a theatre. Start outside the Saken Seifullin Museum and look at its timber architecture. The nearby monument to the writer is the second stop. Continue to the garden beside the First President Museum for a green pause, without making museum admission part of the plan. Walk on to the M. Gorky Russian Drama Theatre, then finish outside merchant D. V. Egorov's house and study the patterned brickwork of its façade. Allow 2–3 hours including the Seifullin Museum and stops. Check theatre performances, building access and museum opening hours separately.
